<p>PURPOSE:To accurately distinguish between transfer and 1st riding even at a station having one station name code and to effectively utilize discount operation for a continuous discount fare, a combined calculation discount fare, etc., by comparing a special getting-off-time code recorded on a ride medium with the special code of a ride-side ticket examining machine and deciding the transfer unless they match each other. CONSTITUTION:An automatic ticket examining machine 10 is equipped with a CPU 11 which performs a ticket examination processing, a ROM 12 which stores a program for performing the ticket examination processing, a RAM 13 in which data required to perform various processing are recorded, a card processing part 14 which reads data out of an inserted card and writes updated data, and a gate processing part 15 which allows a passenger who uses an effective card to pass and restricts the passage of a passenger who uses an ineffective card. The RAM 13 is stored with the representative code of a station (a) and a special code for discriminating between lines A and B as the necessary data.</p> |
