<p>PURPOSE:To provide satisfactory spot characteristic of a cold cathode type cathode-ray tube using a field emission type cathode. CONSTITUTION:A field emission type cathode 25 has an alignment mark 26 arranged near emitter areas 25a, 25b, 25c. A control electrode 27 has an alignment hole 30 in the position corresponding to the alignment mark 26 near control holes 29a, 29b, 29c. The control electrode 27 is arranged on the field emission type cathode 25, and the alignment hole 30 of the control electrode 27 is positioned on the alignment mark 26 of the field emission type cathode 25 to determine the relative positions of the both, and mounted thereon.</p> |
