<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the location of an article by providing a transponder in the object or a storage place of the article, operating an operation section of an article locating device main body to make contact with the object, and specifying the storage place of the article by sound or display on the device main body side when the contact with the article is possible. CONSTITUTION:An article locating device 1 main body is provided with an antenna 2, display device (LCD) 3, an ID information registration key 4, an information change key 5, a key 6 which calls out ID information, character keys 7 such as 1-0, or a, i, u, e, o, and a key 9 for radio communication. The specific symbols and information of an object are input into a computer by the operation of the information registration key 4 by using the keys 7, and this information is written into a transponder. Next, the symbols and information which are input in advance are called out sequentially in the display device 3 by the operation of the call key 6, and the symbols of the article are selected from among them to make contact with the transponder of the article by the key 9 for radio communication. When the contact with the transponder is possible, it is informed by a speaker, buzzer, or LCD.</p> |
