PURPOSE:To produce a soft magnetic alloy compact excellent in soft magnetic characteristic and saturation magnetic flux density by compacting a granular body consisting essentially of an Fe-B amorphous alloy and allowing an amorphous alloy phase and a fine crystallite phase of bcc structure having a specified average grain diameter to coexist in the compact. CONSTITUTION:A granular body consisting essentially of an Fe-B amorphous alloy contg. Fe and B and further contg. one or >=2 kinds of elements selected from among Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Mo and W is compacted to obtain a soft magnetic alloy compact wherein an amorphous alloy phase and a fine crystallite phase of bcc structure having <=30nm average grain diameter coexist. Consequently, an alloy compact excellent in soft magnetic characteristic and saturation magnetic flux density is obtained, and the soft magnetic characteristic is remarkably improved and the saturation magnetic flux density are sufficiently enhanced by further heat-treating the compact to deposit more crystallites. |
