A panel comprises first and second surface layers of fibre-reinforced plastics material, spaced from one another by a core portion. The panel may be a door, and the surface layers may have a colour and texture to simulate another material, e.g. grained wood. The panels are placed in the mould with the core material formed or positioned therebetween and the faces compressed together to unite the panel composite the resin of the surface and core materials being caused or allowed to set. <IMAGE> |
