PURPOSE:To discriminate the classification of image data, consisting of plural pixels represented by XY coordinates, without any human intervention. CONSTITUTION:A specific pattern collation means 3 collates image data to be discriminated which are inputted by an image data input means 2 with specific pattern data that a specific pattern information storage means 1 stores previously and finds the frequencies of matching of the respective specific pattern data. An image data classification discrimination means 4 finds the totals of the matching frequencies of the specific pattern data by image data classifications, recognizes the image data classification corresponding to a maximum value as a discrimination result, and outputs the image data classification through an image data classification output means 5. |
