PURPOSE:To improve the workability at the time of editing a document by selecting and processing arbitrary data when plural data within a designated range are processed. CONSTITUTION:At first, a processing range is designated. For instance, the locations of documents A and B composed of the characters, the ruled lines, the graphics and the graphs shown in a figure are designated. Next, the kind of the data within the designated range is acquired. In the document example of the figure, the characters, the ruled lines and the graphics are data within the designated range. Next, the kind of the data within the designated range is displayed. Desired data is selected from the data displayed on a window and a matrix, etc., at a preceding stage. Next, information is set to a processing object table from a designated condition. For instance, 1 is set to data which is to be processed and 0 is set to data which is not to be processed. In an execution processing flow, a loop as to whether a processing is required for all the data or not is performed. Thus, arbitrary data can be designated from plural data within the designated range and can be processed by an operation. |
