发明名称 PRODUCTION OF ADSORPTION FORMED BODY
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To produce an adsorption formed body excellent in water resistance and strength by kneading a starting material of an adsorbent such as a chain structure type clayey mineral and an auxiliary molding agent by wet method, then, forming and calcining a resultant formed body at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:The chain structure type clayey mineral such as sepiolite and a secondary starting material such as active carbon and silica gel are used as the starting material of the adsorbent. The auxiliary molding agent such as methyl cellulose is kneaded with the starting material by wet method to form a kneaded product, and after forming the kneaded product to pelet-like, honeycomb-like, etc., the resultant formed body is calcined at 550-800 deg.C. When he formed body is calcined at a temp. of >=550 deg.C in which some part is sintered, a bonding between sepiolite fibers is allowed to proceed, and water resistance is improved and strength is increased without dispersing to each fiber even if the calcined body is dipped in water.</p>
