PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device equipped with a means for resetting set operation mode data when service interruption is restored in the case the service interruption is caused in the midst of operation. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device 1 is equipped with a service interruption resetting device 2, and a storage circuit 4 updates storage on the set mode data in a non-volatile RAM 8 when an image forming mode is set and also updates storage on the time data in the RAM 8 momentarily according to a time from a timer circuit 5. By such backup function, the operation mode data is prevented from being lost in the case of the service interruption. When a power source input detection circuit 7 detects that power source input is off and then detects that the power source input is on, a CPU 3 reads out the time data stored in the RAM 8. In the case a time difference between the time when it is detected that the power source input is on and the stored time data is within a previously set specified time, the CPU reads out the operation mode data stored in the RAM 8 and resets the set mode. |
