FUZZY RULE DISPLAY METHOD

PURPOSE:To easily recognize a fuzzy rule even when multiple inputs and multiple fuzzy rules are required and to facilitate the correction and the elimination of the rules by displaying the label positions of an input/output membership function on straight lines corresponding to the number of inputs/outputs and connecting them by the straight lines for the respective fuzzy rules. CONSTITUTION:In the case of one output OUT, the straight lines 1-3 how the respective input axes of inputs XA-XC displayed in a display means and the straight line 4 the output axis of output OUT against three inputs XA-XC. The label positions of the membership, which are previously decided, are displayed on the straight lines 1-3 corresponding to the respective input axes and the straight line 4 corresponding to the output axis as dots ND, NM, ZO, PM and PB. A user connects the respective dots NB, NM, ZO, PM and PB showing the label positions for the respective fuzzy rules (1)-(4) in accordance with the desired fuzzy rules (1)-(4) and therefore the fuzzy rules (1)-(4) are prepared and displayed.
