PHOTO-REFRACTIVE MONO-CRYSTAL FIBER AND ITS MANUFACTURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a photo-refractive mono-crystal fiber having a high sensitivity in an infrared wavelength region. CONSTITUTION:A photo-refractive mono-crystal fiber 3 is made of Sr1-xBaxNb2 O6 where X is between 0.5-0.7, which is characterized by containing Cr and Ce as impurity element. Manufacture of this photo-refractive fiber 3 is made while the a-axis is put in the azimuth of the pullup axis.
