<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate connection of a piping at a limited place by a method wherein the expansion pipe flange part of a first piping is nipped between first and second flanges and a second piping provided at the inside with a sleeve and at the outside with a taper ring and a third flange is inserted in the second flange to fasten together the second and third flanges. CONSTITUTION:Expansion pipe flange parts are formed at the two end parts of a first piping and the expansion flange part 4 is nipped through a packing 23 between first and second flanges 5 and 6 by means of a bolt 19. The end part of the second piping 3 provided at the inside with a sleeve 9 and at the outside with a taper ring 10 and a third flange 7 is disposed to the end part 8 of the second piping 3, the end part 8 of the second piping 3 is inserted in the second flange 6, and the second and third flanges 6 and 7 are fastened together by means of a bolt 15. The taper surface 12 of the taper ring 10 is pressed by the taper part 11 of the third flange part 7, and a taper surface 13 is brought into contact with the taper part 14 of the second flange 6. The taper ring 10 is pressed by the flanges 6 and 7 and the end part 8 of the piping 3 is securely nipped between the taper ring 10 and the sleeve 9. This constitution performs connection of a piping at a limited place.</p> |
