PURPOSE: To produce an uncoated industrial woven fabrics having air permeability adjusted for the purpose of air bag, etc., by subjecting the fabrics just after weaving to shrinkage treatment in an aqueous bath and, thereafter, drying the same. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing the industrial woven fabrics having specifically adjusted permeability, nylon 66 strings are supplied from a warp beam 1, a prescribed fabric is woven in a water jet room and, thereafter, the fabric is introduced into a treating trough 6 via a pair of rollers 5 through a cloth beam 3a and conveying and deflecting rollers 3b, 3c. After the fabric is immersed in the aqueous bath of 20 to 100 deg.C, preferably 60 to 100 deg.C, in particular 90 to 95 deg.C, the fabric is pair of rollers 12, successively conveyed to a drying zone 13 and is wound on a cloth beam 16 through a pair of rollers 14 and a deflecting roller 15. The prescribed shrinkage treatment is performed by rotating at least one of both part of rollers 12, 14 at a speed lower by 2 to 12% as compared with the speed of the pair of rollers 5 in the aqueous bath, and the air permeability is controlled to 20 or 10 l/dm<2> , min or 20 to 120 l/dm<2> , min under test different pressure of 500 Pa. |
