PURPOSE:To provide a printer using continuous paper capable of effectively absorbing a difference between the circumferential speed of a heating roller in accordance with the kind of the continuous paper and the carrying speed of the continuous paper. CONSTITUTION:This printer 10 using the continuous paper is equipped with a processing means for transferring a toner image in accordance with printing information on the continuous paper P, a tractor means 20 for carrying the continuous paper in accordance with the traveling of a tractor belt 74 engaged with the continuous paper P, a fixing means 22 applying heat fixing to the toner image on the continuous paper P carried by the means 20 through the heating roller 128, a 1st driving motor 84 carrying the continuous paper P by driving the belt 74 of the means 20 to travel, a 2nd driving motor 86 driving and rotating the roller 128 of the fixing means 22, a detection means detecting the speed difference between the traveling speed of the paper P and the circumferential speed by the rotation of the roller 128, and a control means 24 controlling the rotating speed of the motor 86 based on the detected result of the detection means so that the circumferential speed by the rotation of the roller 128 may be increased and decreased by a specified amount in comparison with the traveling speed of the belt 79. |
