摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the scrolling operation of a window wherein an enlarged display is made by displaying a place indicated with a pointing device in the enlarged display window at all times at the time of document creation using a reduced screen. CONSTITUTION:When a part of a document which is reduced and displayed in a window 1 is indicated with the pointing device, the cursor of the window 1 is automatically moved to the position and the cursor of a window 2 is also moved associatively with said movement; if the cursor position is not displayed in the window 2 at this time, the display position in the window 2 is automatically scrolled so that the position is displayed in the window 2. Consequently, the need for the scrolling operation of the window 2 which is a problem in conventional technology is eliminated since the display position in the window 2 is automatically scrolled. Consequently, the scrolling operation of the window 2 wherein the enlarged display is made is reduced at the time of the document creation using the reduced screen.
