PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a primary battery having a positive electrode mix containing a positive electrode active material and a conductive material, and particularly prolong the life by changing the conductive material. CONSTITUTION:In a primary battery having a positive electrode mix containing a positive electrode active material and a conductive material, flake graphite powder having a thickness less than 1mum, an average grain size of 1-50mum, and a specific surface area of 5-50m<2>/g is contained. In the positive electrode mix, preferably, 0.5-10 parts by weight of the flake graphite powder is contained to 100 parts by weight of the positive electrode active material. |
