PURPOSE:To provide an intake air heating device for preventing bad effect on itself when an engine intakes the air by forming it in such constitution that the ventilation resistance can maintain sufficiently low level even if oil and dust stick on a radiating fin. CONSTITUTION:At least a heating element 2 and electrifying means 2, 3', 3'', 3c, 3f, 5, 9a, 9b and 12 for heating the heating element and radiating fins 3a bent in meandered shape for heating the intake air by transferred heat from the heating element and radiating blocks 3 formed of heat transfer plates 3b to which the bent parts of the fins air bonded are jointed to a housing 5 in an intake air heating device 1. Moreover, the intake air can be passed through a ventilation passage 5b which is a space 6 in which a particularly mounted radiating fin is not present except the radiating fins. |
