<p>PURPOSE:To switch and display plural of image data with a playful and realistic sense without requiring a mechanical key input operation, in an image display device switching and displaying preliminarily stored image data according to a user operation,such as an electronic notebook. CONSTITUTION:In the front of the light emitting and light receiving elements 14b and 15b of a device main body, the light receiving element 15b is made to receive infrared ray reflection light every time the passing operation of the hand of a user is performed by passing the hand of the user without contacting according to an object instruction within the set time when the light emitting element 14b set arbitrarily by a 'level' key 12h emit infrared rays, plural kinds of characters where each motion is changed, such as grieving dogs and dogs holding out their forepows which are preliminarily stored in a ROM 13 and the effect sound are selectively read in a CPU 11 and are displayed on a liquid crystal display part 18, and each corresponded effect sound is generated from a speaker 20, by setting the value of ROM address M according to the number of times of light reception of infrared ray reflection by the user operation within this set time.</p> |
