<p>PURPOSE: To produce socks, stocking, pop socks and the like with high productivity without excessive yarn waste by knitting socks according to the top-to-top knitting process to from the first socks and the second socks which of them are connected with trim lines and separating them into individual socks and sewing them using a sewing machine. CONSTITUTION: The first socks are knitted from the uppermost part 2 down to the tiptoe 7 and trim rows 8 are arranged can the edge of the tiptoe, then the second socks 10 is knitted following the trim lines 8 from the tiptoe up to the uppermost part 12. The first and the second socks are fed to a sewing machine and cut and separated into individual socks by cutting the trim stitch rows with a cutter. Then, the separated first and the second socks are fed to two different sewing units to sew their tiptoes thereby producing the final products.</p> |
