The aim of the invention is to provide a "talking" umbrella giving greater expression and originality of the umbrella, for the user than is possible solely by means of a printed image or message on the umbrella fabric, although the invention may be used in conjunction with such a printed image or message. This aim is achieved by fitting permanently in or on the umbrella a microchip (1) or module actuated by a push-button (2) to produce an announcement of limited length in the form of a song, text, tune or any other kind of noise. |
