The amplitude of vibrations produced in the spin drying cycle of operations of an automatic or semi-automatic washing machine is reduced by a weight 1 on a blade 2 secured to the machine framework which at a predetermined vibration strikes an abutment 10 on a mobile blade 5 to move it from contact with a fixed blade 6 in the circuit to the spin-drying motor 8 to contact with a fixed blade 7 in the circuit to the washing motor 9. A manual or automatic device returns the blade 5 into contact with the blade 6. |
