PURPOSE:To control other video signal receiver with a remote commander for one video signal receiver in the reception system including plural video signal receivers. CONSTITUTION:A video signal receiver 10 has a 1st reception mode in which a video signal of one channel among plural channels of video signals received by a reception antenna is selectively received and a 2nd reception mode in which a video signal from a video signal receiver 20 is received. In the 2nd reception mode, when a control signal RC1 from a remote commander 40 is a predetermined signal, an operation control section 120 allows a switch circuit 124 to be set from a state of selecting the control signal RC1 into a state of selecting the control signal RC2 generated by the operation control section. An external device control transmitter 30 generates a control signal RC3 based on the control signal RC1 or RC2 and sends the control signal RC3 to the video signal receiver 20.
