<p>PURPOSE:To provide a data transmission system for which safety against a fire is improved. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a remote power controller composed of a transmission circuit 3 for energizing a relay 14 by a power-on control signal outputted from a host side, switching contact points 14a and 14b and applying voltages -Vss and +VCC respectively to the ends of an A side line and a B side line which are line cables on the host side and a reception circuit 4 for energizing the energizing coil 19 for power-on of a latching relay 18 by a voltage difference taken out from the A side line and the B side line on a terminal side, switching and latching the contact points 18a and 18b, connecting an AC power source and a MODEM and the power supply terminal of a terminal equipment, energizing the energizing coil 23 for power-off of the latching relay 18 by a power-off control signal and cancelling the latch of the contact points 18a and 18b.</p> |
