<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet feeder by which cost can be reduced and an installing characteristic can be improved and the occurrence of a malfunction or the like can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid is actuated by a paper feed signal, and a tooth lacking gear 12b and a driving gear 13 are meshed with each other, and a cam part 12a is rotated, and swings a lift-up lever 10. Thereby, a pickup roller 3 is lowered, and comes into contact with the uppermost sheet position and sends out a sheet S. When the cam part 12a is further rotated, the pickup lever 10 raises a shaft 6, and separates the pickup roller 3 from the sheet S. When a tooth lacking part of the tooth lacking gear 12b is opposed to the driving gear 13, transmission of driving is cut off, and a sheet feeder is put in a standby condition.</p> |
