PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of image defects by insufficiency of sensitivity when the method is applied to a high-speed copying machine, etc., of a flash exposing system by using a photoreceptor cont. a charge generating and charge transfer material which are respectively specific and specifying the exposure time. CONSTITUTION:The photoreceptor is constituted by laminating at least a charge generating layer and charge transfer layer on a conductive substrate. The photoreceptor contg. the charge generating material expressed by formula I and/or formula II in the charge generating layer and contg. the charge transfer material expressed by formula III in the charge transfer layer is used and the exposure time onto the photoreceptor in a stage for executing the exposure is specified to 1X10<-4> to 2X10<-2> second. In the formulas I to III, Z denotes the atom group necessary for forming a substd. or unsubstd. arom. ring; Ar1, Ar2 denote aliphatic groups or arom. groups; Ar3 denotes a phenylene group; Ar1, Ar3 may form a ring. R1, R2 denote hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups, aryl groups; R3 denotes an alkyl group, aryl group; R2, R3 may form a ring. |
