PURPOSE:To provide a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) converter which works based on a server client modle to perform the KANA/ KANJI conversion and also, can improve the secrecy of a working machine of a server part by limiting the number of client parts that can apply the KANA /KANJI conversion. CONSTITUTION:The KANA/KANJI converter is provided with a received information analyzing part 5 which analyzes the information on the transmitting and receiving parts, a client information registering part 5 which describes the information on the client parts that are permitted to apply the KANA/ KANJI conversion, a client information retrieving part 4 which retrieves the information on a client part 8 transferred from the part 3 out of the part 5, and a server application grant deciding part 7 which permits or rejects the application of the KANA/KANJI conversion of the part 8 based on the retrieving result of the part 4. |
