PURPOSE:To generate musical sound having rich expression and varieties by controlling the parameters of a khaos sound source in real time and generating waveform shapes which vary stepwise in accordance with the parameter values. CONSTITUTION:Parameters of a function (f) of a kahos sound source, which generates waveform data columns, are controlled in real time by a dynamic system that is varied in accordance with Xn of a difference equation Xn+1 =f (Xn) at time n (n=0,1,2,...). Namely, a delay circuit 101 of a kahos oscillator delays input data for equivalent to one period of a sampling clock and outputs them. In a function generator 102, the function (f) is applied to input data X and output data f (X) are outputted. A compensation circuit 103 performs a nonlinear conversion to the input data and outputs them as musical sound data and the output of the circuit 103 is also inputted to the circuit 101. |
