PURPOSE:To efficiently contact the destination designated for a user in emergency. CONSTITUTION:In the case of receiving the emergency report from an household terminal 12, an MCC 16 connects a shared telephone set 18 to a telephone circuit network 11 and a manager communicates with the user. Then, in the case of contacting the emergency destination for the user, the MCC 16 is controlled, the telephone of the emergency report is put on hold, the contact destinations at the time of emergency are displayed in a host computer and by selecting from them, a telephone call is made to the emergency contact destination. The call is made by the common telephone set 18 as well. When the call is completed, the telephone of the emergency report is returned and necessary communication is performed.
