PURPOSE:To entirely reduce in size and weight a charger for a battery as compared with prior art and to further decrease a cost. CONSTITUTION:The charger for the battery of a motor comprises a power supply unit E different from a battery B, a switching element Qa for chopping the current to be supplied from the unit E, the charging circuit CHa for supplying a DC charging current to be generated by a series connection of the unit E, the element Qa and a winding (a) of a motor MD0, and a selector S0 for selecting either the circuit CHa or a driver DRa of the motor Md0 and connecting the selected circuit to the battery B. |
