PURPOSE:To improve copying productivity at the second and subsequent cycles in a copying mode for repeating such a cycle that a document is recirculated by the set number of copied sheets and copying is successively carried by the automatic recirculating document feeder. CONSTITUTION:In the case of selecting the copying mode for repeating such the cycle that the document is recirculated by the set number of copied sheets and copying is successively carried out by the automatic recirculating document feeder, at the 1st cycle where the total number of documents is not defined, a transfer sheet is started to be fed after detecting the presence of the following document, and also, the number of successively copied documents are counted so as to define the total number of the documents, and at each of the 2nd and subsequent cycles, the transfer sheets as many as the defined total number of the documents are fed under the individual timing control. |
