The platform (8) is mounted on a base (9) and is raised and lowered on a pantograph structure (10) by two rotating screw rods (7) driven by an electric motor (5) and gear wheel (6). The upper part of the screws is screened by the columns (12) which support the lamps (13). The pantograph is hidden behind a curtain (14) between the base and the platform. The whole of the interior is painted or covered black apart from the displayed item (c) facing the window (v) which has a semi-reflective covering layer (3). The control, for preference, may be high frequency touch sensitive switches (1,2) inside the window operated from without.
