PURPOSE:To reduce the power loss of a low-loss Mn-Zn ferrite in a high-frequency region by mixing specific amounts of SiO2, CaO, Ta2O5, TiO2, and MoO3 and/or WO3 as accessory ingredients and, in addition, a required amount of SnO2 in the main ingredients of the ferrite composed of Fe2O3, MnO, and ZnO. CONSTITUTION:A low-loss Mn-Zn ferrite contains a silicon oxide by 0.005-0.04wt.% in terms of Sin2, calcium oxide by 0.01-0.25wt.% in terms of CaO, tantalum oxide by 0.005-0.05wt.% in terms of Ta2O5, and titanium oxide by 0.005-1.0wt.% in terms of TiO2, and, in addition, molybdenum oxide by 0.005-0.1wt.% in terms of MoO3, and/or tungsten oxide by 0.005-0.1wt.% in terms of WO3. In addition, the ferrite also contains a tin oxide by 0.005-0.5wt.% in terms of SnO2. |
