PURPOSE:To reduce a soiled area by developer in an unused area. CONSTITUTION:In this device, a recording sheet (ST) 2 on which an electrostatic latent image (IN) is formed is carried along a carrying path, the developer is allowed to act on the surface of the carried ST 2 so as to develop the IM and the image is formed on the ST, and then an image formed part completed on the ST is cut and outputted. The device is provided with developing head parts (HD) 6a to 6d provided with an aperture part on their upper surfaces, sucking the ST 2 by the suction of the inside of the aperture part by a suction pump (PP), whereby the developer is allowed to flow and circulate by negative pressure by the suction, and plurally disposed around a shaft in parallel with a direction crossing the carrying path, a means 47 for setting the material of the used ST 2, and a control means 40 controlling so that the supply of the developer may be stopped and driving the PP may be continued when developing the latent image is finished, and controlling so that recording sheet carrying speed may be low speed corresponding to the set content of the setting means 47. |
