PURPOSE:To establish a low-cost manufacturing method for an electric wire with foamed insulation which can perform manufacture simply without need for any strict determining of the mixing/kneading condition for synthetic resin in an extruder and which does not require adding of an auxiliary substance such as a foaming agent or foaming aid material. CONSTITUTION:By an extruder 3, a crushed and foamed polystylene resin 6A is extruded to the surroundings of a conductor core 1, and at the same time, a covering layer 7 is extruded to the surroundings of this polystylene resin 6A. Thus an electric wire Awith foamed insulation is manufactured. |
