PURPOSE:To provide a preheating device easily applicable to the change of the shape of a lead frame and avoids the influence on the setting of the lead frame in a die due to the change of the forming temperature by making it possible to exchange a preheat block according to the width and the shape of the face to be heated of the lead frame. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is provided with a center guide 4 fixed at the center of a heater plate 2 and made of the same material as a die to keep space between facing lead frames. It also has a pair of side guides 5 which face each other with the center guide 4 placed in the middle between them and which are located slidably and preheat blocks 6 which are located and pressed between the center guide 4 and the side guides 5 and which are made of the same material as the lead frame and have the same width as the lead frame and which have a heated face of the same shape as that of the heated face of the lead frame. Therefore, if the shape of the lead frame and the temperature of the die change, preheating of the lead frame can be conducted with the optimum positioning accuracy without erroneous setting of the lead frame in the die by exchanging the preheat blocks 6 and by making the temperature of the preheat blocks the same one as that of the die. |
