PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of preventing a white stripe and the uneveness of a latent image at the time of forming a latent image, and faulty transfer and the scattering of developer at the time of transferring and prolonging the lives of an electrostatic charging roller and a transfer roller by securing an electrostatic charging area and a transfer area which are very wide. CONSTITUTION:As for the image forming device having at least a photosensitive drum (image carrier) 1, the electrostatic charging roller 2 and the transfer roller 7; the diameter d1 of the roller 2 and the diameter d2 of the roller 7 are set larger than the diameter D of the photosensitive drum 1 (d1, d2>D). The diameter d1 of the roller 2 is larger than the diameter D of the photosensitive drum 1 (d1>D), so that the electrostatic charging area is sufficiently secured, uneven discharge and ripple are hardly caused and the white stripe and the unevenness of the latent image are prevented from occurring at the time of forming the latent image. Since the roller 7 is constituted the same as the roller 2, the transfer area is sufficiently secured and the faulty transfer and the scattering of the developer are prevented at the time of transferring. Furthermore, the revolving speed of the rollers 2 and 7 is made low and the lives thereof are prolonged. |
