PURPOSE:To provide a motor which solves the durability of a brush and the high cost of a drive circuit and which is used to drive a plurality of loads. CONSTITUTION:The constitution of a DC motor in which a direct current is supplied, via slip rings 6, 7, commutators 8, 9, 10 and a brush 12, to a motor having a coil in a stator 2 and a magnet in a rotor 3 and the constitution of a brushless motor which is driven in a brushless manner so as to be provided with the separation and contact means 20 of the brush 12, with an inverter 16, with a rotor-rotating-position detection means 25 and with a controller 17 which controls the switching timing of the inverter so as to match a rotor positional signal are installed side by side so as to be freely selected as required. In the case of a load whose usage frequency is large, the brushless motor is operated, and the durability of the brush is enhanced. In the case of a load whose current is large, the DC motor is operated, the capacity of a power element is reduced, and the cost of the motor is lowered. |
