PURPOSE:To provide a watch type radio receiver heightened in magnetic field detecting sensitivity in the mounted state of a band. CONSTITUTION:A watch type radio receiver is provided with a pager body 2 and a band 3 connected to the pager body 2. The band 3 is provided therein with an antenna 4 forming a loop in the band 3 so as to detect the magnetic field components, in the orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction of the band 3, of incoming radio waves. The antenna 4 detects the magnetic field components passing the inside of the loop of the antenna 4, that is, the thickness part of the band 3 having the antenna 4, in the orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction of the band 3, of the incoming radio wave. The magnetic field is not therefore disturbed by an arm in the mounted state of the band. |
