PURPOSE:To provide a 'KARAOKE' (orchestration without lyrics) device in which improvements are made on the deficiencies of the system in that music data are updated or the system in that music data are not updated. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a 'KARAOKE' playing section 20 which has a sound source that generates musical sound of a music based on the musical data, a first storage means 21 which stores musical data for equivalent to plural musics in a condition that an update of the musical data is possible, a second storage means 22 which stores musical data for equivalent to plural musics in a condition that an update of the musical data is not possible, a playing music reception section 23 which receives a request for a playing music, a table 24 which indicates the location of the requested music in either the first or the second storage means and a storage switchover means 25 which selects the music data having the requested music number from the first or the second storage sections shown by the table and transfers the selected data to the 'KARAOKE' playing section. |
