<p>PURPOSE:To provide a developer capable of properly controlling toner concentration, causing no image fogging nor scattering of toner in an image forming method where the toner is recycled while the magnetic permeability of the developer is measured to detect and control the toner density. CONSTITUTION:In this image forming method, an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic charge image carrying body is developed while magnetic permeability of the developer is measured to detect and control the toner density. Further, the electrostatic latent image formed on the electrostatic charge carrying body is developed and transferred to a transfer body, then the toner remaining on the electrostatic charge image carrying body is recovered and returned to a toner replenishing device or a developing device so that the toner can be repeatedly used. The charge image developer is a two-component developer consisting of at least a toner and a magnetic carrier. The carrier is a resin-coated carrier produced by applying mechanical impact force on a mixture of magnetic particles and fluorinated (meth)acrylate resin fine particles so that a fluorinated (meth)acrylate resin coating layer is formed on the surface of the magnetic particle.</p> |
