ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING CARRIER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide a resin-coated carrier for a two-component developer having a long life by which charge amt. of the toner is stably proceeded and fog of an image or scattering of the toner is not caused even when the carrier is used for a long time for such an image forming method adopting toner recycle. CONSTITUTION:The carrier is a resin-coated carrier produced by applying mechanical impact force to a mixture of magnetic articles and fluorinated (meth)acrylate resin fine particles so that a fluorinated (meth)acrylate resin coating layer is formed on the surface of the magnetic particle. The amt. of fluorinated (meth)acrylate component in the resin coating layer is gradually decreased from the interface between the magnetic particle and the resin coating layer to the outermost surface of the resin coating layer.
