PURPOSE:To control the call signal receiver from the outside by providing an interface with an external controller and performing communication with the external controller using the signal line. CONSTITUTION:A received carrier wave signal is received by a reception part 2. The received selective call signal is decoded to a digital signal by a decode part 3. The decoded selective call signal is recognized as a message by a control part 7 and stored in a storage part 4. The stored message is displayed on an LCD 5, and the reception of the selective call signal is alarmed by using a buzzer 6. In this case, the selective call signal receiver can be controlled from the outside by performing the communication with the external controller while using the signal lines of interfaces 9 and 10 with the external controller 12. Then, many transmitted messages can be received by successively reading the messages received from the external controller. |
