PURPOSE: To provide a transmission control method by which the quality of services can be maintained constantly by combinedly evaluating requests for individual information stream and selecting a transmission rate based on the evaluation and a system using the method. CONSTITUTION: A radio communication system, particularly, mobile communication system transmits the information stream the same communication transmitted from different sources CV1 and CS1 and CV2 and CS2 at variable rates through the same radio channel. Each mobile station M1,..., Mh and fixed section B1,..., Bn an RNC of the system has a device which controls the transmission at the variable rates and the device dynamically assigns obtainable bits to different streams by taking the requests from the sources CV1, CS1, CV2, and CS2, the state of the channel 6, and the system space factor into consideration. |
