PURPOSE:To provide a timer of such constitution that display contents are grasped at once and that the subtle lapse of time can be displayed on the time notifying side without the generation of miscount. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of switch input of an external operating part 5 is counted by a setting counter 6. The counter 6 obtains a signal from a dividing circuit 2 as occasion calls. The output of the counter 6 is memorized by a latch circuit 7, and the latch circuit 7 outputs synchronously with an input clock signal outputted from a coincidence circuit 10. The output of the latch circuit 7 controls a control circuit 11, and the coincidence with the latch circuit 7 is compared by a comparing circuit 8. A second counter 9 counts seconds in order to output the clock input of the comparing circuit 8, and the second counter 9 is reset each time by the output of the coincidence circuit 10. |
