<p>PURPOSE:To make possible the notification of the information of DC power fed to the electronic equipment side and the discrimination of the specifications of an AC adapter by analyzing DC voltage information on the electronic equipment side by synthesizing specification information regarding DC voltage output by the conversion of AC/DC power supplies to DC output voltage. CONSTITUTION:A signal-voltage generating means 103 on the AC adapter side has an oscillation circuit and generates signal voltage corresponding to the function of DC voltage converted and output by an AC DC conversion means 102, and a synthesizing means 104 synthesizes DC voltage and signal voltage and supplies a DC power supply which adds functional information. The electronic equipment carries out processing such as the separation of synthesized voltage into a DC voltage component and a signal voltage component by a filter circuit by a DC-voltage and signal-voltage separating means 201, the analysis of the signal voltage component by a signal-voltage analyzing means 202, the conversion of the DC voltage component into DC voltage making possible the normal operation of an electronic equipment on the basis of the result of analysis by an operating-state changing means 203, etc.</p> |
