<p>PURPOSE: To provide a radar system which can be operated in various conditions in order to optimize performance of the radar system to transmit an encoded signal and whose performance is improved by selection of encodement of a signal. CONSTITUTION: A disorderly code source 22 having disorderly code output, a transmitter 24 and receiver 26 are provided. The transmitter 24 is provided with a carrier wave signal source 28 and an encoder 30 to which a carrier wave signal 29 of the carrier wave signal source 28 and disorderly code output 23 of the disorderly code source 22 are supplied and which outputs a transmission radar signal having the disorderly code output 23 encoded as the carrier wave signal 29. The receiver 26 is provided with a correlating unit 46 to which the disorderly code output 23 of the disorderly code source 22 and a received radar signal 44 are supplied and which outputs indication of a correlation between these signals.</p> |
