<p>PURPOSE:To provide a grounding device which operates a gas flow generated by compression of gas over the entire length of an arc to efficiently cool the arc and has excellent breaking function. CONSTITUTION:A case 3 is connected to a grounded vessel 1 in which a voltage applying unit 2 is disposed, a cylinder 4 having a piston 5 slidable in the case 3 is installed, a connecting tube 6 is connected to an end face of the piston 5, a movable contactor 8 and an insulating nozzle 9 are provided at its end, and a stationary contactor 11 is provided at the unit 2 opposed to the contactor 8. Further, the interior of the cylinder 4 communicates with an outlet through a hollow part 5c and an inner space 6a.</p> |
