Device for spray coating in atmospheric conditions

The coating device (10) has a housing (12) arranged on a base (14). The housing has inlet and outlet prechambers (16) and a middle section (29) in which a closed coating chamber is formed. The coating chamber is elongated and cylindrical through which the objects to be coated are passed by a continuous conveyor system (26). The cylindrical shape of the coating chamber permits a number of spray nozzles (24) to extend inwards around the chamber. A row of coating stations using a number of spray nozzles can be used along the coating chamber. At each coating station, a spray nozzle is arranged beneath the running plane of the object.
