Colour changing lamp for car

A colour-changing lamp for a car has a lamp bulb to give a first light colour, a power source for it and a bell-shaped cover made from transparent material which gives a second colour when it lies on the optical axis of the bulb. There is a changeover switch which places it in either a covering position (ie, on this optical axis) or uncovering position. The power source for the lamp is connected with the device for moving the cover and switches the lamp on when the cover is in one of the two end positions, but switches it off when the cover is in some intermediate position.
