<p>A portable fire fighting tool (3) that is connectable to a portable fire extinguisher (10) is described. This tool comprises a penetrating head (6) with a removable, sharp cutting element (5) thereon and wherein the penetrating head is preferably connected at 90 degrees to a linear, hollow handle (1). At the opposite end of the handle a quick connect device (2) may be used to connect the portable fire extinguisher (10) and the handle (1) together. By forcing the penetrating head (6) down and through the sheet metal of the engine or trunk compartment of an automobile, the cutting element (5) cuts through the sheet metal. When the fire extinguisher (10) is discharged, the fire extinguishing agent flows down over the cutting element (5) in an umbrella-like fashion extinguishing the fire without doing further damage to the automobile.</p> |
